2019 KISTLER LES NOISETIERS CHARDONNAY

Winery Notes: “Les Noisetiers (pronounced Lay Nwaz-tee-yay) is a study of our Sonoma Coast sites. The name refers to the toasted hazelnut characters that we notice year in and year out from these sites. This cuvee is an appellation-focused Chardonnay. The explicit purpose of this wine is to illustrate a regional character of western Sonoma County highlighting mineral tones from vineyards with sandy Gold Ridge soils. The main sources are the Vine Hill Vineyard, Dutton Ranch and Trenton Roadhouse vineyards.”

Morlet 2018 Les Petits Sauvignon Blanc

2020 AMUSE BOUCHE PRET A BOIRE NAPA VALLEY ROSÉ

Winery Notes: “This Southern French-style blend is composed of 59% Grenache
and 41% Syrah from our high-altitude vineyards in the eastern
Rutherford hills of Napa Valley.”

2018 MARTINELLI ZIO TONY RANCH PINOT NOIR

From Vinous, “The 2018 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch is a magnificent wine that captures all of the Martinelli signatures. Super-ripe red cherry, red plum, blood orange, mint and spice build in a sumptuous, beautifully layered Pinot that dazzles from start to finish. The mix of six different clones is one of the factors that yields a Pinot of stunning complexity. Wow! Drinking window: 2020 – 2033.” 97 Points

2017 LEWIS RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Winery Notes: “Very short yields in 2017 from a small collection of hillside and bench-land vineyards in Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll created a wine of Napoleonic stature – compact and powerful with a winning character. A battalion of ripe black fruit and blueberry compote is infused with sultry spices, charcuterie, clove and dark chocolate aromas. Expansive on entry, the broad-reaching palate develops a tailing regiment with crushed rock, toffee and polished tannins.
From Jeb Dunnuck, “the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has a big, rich, mineral-laced style that’s going to need bottle age. Black fruits, charcoal, graphite, tobacco, and scorched earth notes give way to a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, structured 2017 that does well in the vintage…” 92+ Points
Wine Spectator – 93 Points

2017 LUCE DELLA VITE TOSCANA

Dark-berry, walnut, cedar and violet aromas with just a hint of chocolate. Full-bodied, layered and rich with ripe tannins and a vivid finish. Shows energy and a velvety texture. Deep and long. Give it two or three years to soften. Try after 2022.97 Points
“… the 25th anniversary of Luce… the 2017 vintage celebrates this birthday properly. Luce is one of the few Super Tuscans of Montalcino. Compared to Brunello it is blended with Merlot adding suppleness and focused on new oak ageing. Deep crimson in colour, full of clove, vanilla and buttery aromas, than brights for black cherry and plummy notes, graphite and cherry flavour, with an earthy mineral finish. Grainy velvety tannins (impressive for 2017 vintage) and firm acidity are well supported by incredibly rich fruit concentration and suppleness. A wine drinkable now with potential for ageing. Drinking Window 2020 – 2040” 95 Points
