2011 TOLAINI “VALDISANTI” SUPER TUSCAN
From one of Tuscany’s most notable vintages, Tolaini’s Valdisanti already has several of the world’s top wine critics agreeing on its superior qualities. With 91-92 point scores from James Suckling, Wine Spectator and Vinous, this terrific Tuscan is sourced from Tuscany’s renowned Chianti Classico region. The Wine Spectator describes the 2011 vintage there as producing ripe and rich, yet vibrant wines and scored the vintage 93 points.
Tolaini’s consulting winemaker is Michel Rolland… Rolland is one of the most influential winemakers in the world, with hundreds of clients spanning 13 countries. A blend driven by 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and enhanced with Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese, this wine spends 16 months in French oak and a year in the bottle before release. I highly recommend stocking up on this exceptional Super Tuscan. Better yet, it’s price is just too good to pass up.
