This very special Riesling arose from the Grand Cru Hofberg Vineyard, which in 1868 was classified by the Prussians as an extraordinary place to grow Riesling… On the palate this wine is light and silky, moving elegantly with detailed pear, honeyed melon, wet stones and lime peel.  The fruit is sweet but not cloying and the wine has a delicate weight that’s absolutely enjoyable to sip. I highly recommend adding some of this to your collection before it sails away.
