2018 HEIR APPARENT NAPA VALLEY PROPRIETARY RED
$110.00 $110.00
Heir Apparent offers consumers a chance to taste wines created from some of Napa Valley’s top properties, but priced far less than others from the same origins. Their 2018 Proprietary Red has a core of 52% Cabernet from a top-tier Coombsville Estate that sells their wine for around $200. An NDA agreement will not allow us to divulge the exact location of the grapes, but once you taste it, all you’ll care about is how quickly you can get more of this “pleasure-bent yet classic,” as Jeb Dunnuck writes.
This stunning 2018 blend balances Coombsville Cabernet’s power with the supple flavors of Merlot, from a prime St Helena vineyard that borders Rutherford, intertwined with Malbec from a secret site near the base of Spring Mountain.
The winemaking team ages this wine for around 20 months in high-quality Berger barrels, also used by Chateau Margaux. This wine is from an incredible vintage, so if you desire a wine that retails for and tastes like it should be at least double or triple the price, this one will surely delight you.
