2014 LORING “ROSELLA’S VINEYARD” PINOT NOIR

$50.00 $39.99 $39.99

Clinching 96 Points from Steve Heimoff, former West Coast Editor for Wine Enthusiast Magazine, his review boasts Loring’s Rosella’s Pinot is “Wildly tasty.” Located in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, fruit from Rosella’s Vineyard has gone into single vineyard wines from revered producers like Kosta Browne, Roar and Siduri to name a few…

Loring’s inaugural vintage was in 1999 and they truly hit the ground running, growing from 150 cases in ’99 to nearly 6,000 in 2006. Producing a collection of hand-crafted Pinot Noirs from carefully selected vineyard sites around California, many of which are considered to be California’s best Pinot Noir Vineyards. Here’s a chance to try one of their most sought after vineyard designate Pinots. With the recent 96 Point review, we strongly recommend securing a case before it runs out.

2014 LORING “ROSELLA’S VINEYARD” PINOT NOIR

From Steve Heimoff, “A very fine Rosella’s, which is to say, a very fine Pinot Noir! Great structure, with a mouthwatering hit of acidity highlighting deliciously complex flavors of raspberries, red cherries and persimmons… The more I taste this wine, the more impressive it gets. Wildly tasty. As with the rest of Loring’s ‘14s, it’s super-young, but one of the few that is absolutely compelling now, although if I had a case, I’d drink a bottle or two a year through the early 2020s.” 96 Points
