2014 CAPTURE “TRADITION” SAUVIGNON BLANC
Finely sculpted and with striking energy, Captûre brings classic Bordeaux-styled winemaking to the rugged Mayacamas Mountains. Presenting a Peacock’s Tail of assorted citrus, exotic mangoes, wild flowers and minerals, Capture’s Tradition Sauvignon Blanc was fermented using a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak, adding even more intricate, elaborate flavors to the final blend. Arising from high elevation, mountain vineyards in Lake and Sonoma Counties, in my opinion, Captûre is one of the finest domestic Sauvignon Blancs on the market.
Composed by talented Winemaster Graham Weerts, who has extensive winemaking experience throughout Bordeaux and South Africa. He is also the winemaker for the high scoring Stonestreet wines in Alexander Valley.
