Finely sculpted and with striking energy, Captûre brings classic Bordeaux-styled winemaking to the rugged Mayacamas Mountains.  Presenting a Peacock’s Tail of assorted citrus, exotic mangoes, wild flowers and minerals, Capture’s Tradition Sauvignon Blanc was fermented using a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak, adding even more intricate, elaborate flavors to the final blend.  Arising from high elevation, mountain vineyards in Lake and Sonoma Counties, in my opinion, Captûre is one of the finest domestic Sauvignon Blancs on the market.

Winery Notes: “Our 2014 Tradition Sauvignon Blanc elevates the purity of the variety through four months of sur lie aging in stainless steel fermentation; capturing the vibrant fragrances of fresh pineapple, mango and Bartlett pear. The blend of our Lake County and Sonoma County vineyards highlight the ideal characteristics for Sauvignon Blanc: brilliant acidity and complex minerality. Apricot and lemon zest, with a hint of ginger, combine on the palate, showcasing brightness and ripe fruit flavors.”
