In past Vintages Robert Parker has boasted about Arietta’s Quartet,  “…aromas jump from the glass… impressive purity and breadth… hedonistic and intellectual turn-on…”  He has not yet reviewed the 2012

Description

2012 ARIETTA “Quartet”

From Steve Tanzer, “Raspberry, mocha, licorice and cola spices on the nose; less peppery than the 2011 version and showing attractive cabernet franc violety lift. At once dense and delineated, with excellent energy and penetration to the ripe dark berry and spice flavors. Finishes long and firm, with the balance to age.”  A combination of 58% cabernet sauvignon, 21% cabernet franc, 19% merlot and 2% petit verdot

Winery Quote:  “While Quartet is meant to be enjoyed
immediately, this one will no doubt age for decades to come.”
