It captures the dark volcanic character and structured elegance that made Oakville legendary, delivering concentrated fruit and mineral depth long before the winemaking even begins. Stacy Vogel and Tim Milos know a site like this needs very little intervention. The 2015 was bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve the full expression of the vineyard’s volcanic soils and mountain drive. Twenty-four months in 90 percent new French oak added polish and integration, and nearly a decade of bottle age has brought everything into beautiful harmony. Now drinking exactly as serious Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon should, the wine shows softened tannins, even greater expressiveness from the site, and a seamless balance that collectors wait years to experience. This is a mature Napa expression with a genuine pedigree, fully realized and deeply satisfying.
